Round 1 at Avalon Raceway

​Great turn out for our first meeting with 14 cars contesting podium finishes.

Well our first meeting for the 2016/17 season was run last Sunday with an excellent turn out of cars..

We would like to welcome the new drivers and their families to our club..

With starting in the late morning the track was very fast, the novice cars gave the crowd something to watch, with 3 novice B cars saw George Bishop take out 4 heat wins and a final win, Riley Taylor showed class with coming 2nd in his heats and final.. And new comer Holly Hutchinson proved she can certainly race hard like the boys with coming 3rd in her heats and final..

Novice A certainly put on some very fast and close racing 5 cars in total, with Mallacai Windsor taking out first place in 2 heats and a 5th in the final followed by Talon Humphrey and Hudson Moorfoot with wins, Talon took out the final with excellent form who is also a new comer..

Jake Bradley and new comer Callan Atkinson showed lots of improvement as the day progressed with picking up strong 3rds and 4ths between them, and finishing the final with Callan in 3rd place and Jake in 4th..

120cc class had 3 cars battling for positions with extremely fast and nail biting finishes, Jayden Lock took out all 4 wins plus the final win with Arthur Hutchinson having a couple of 2nd and 3rd placing along with Koby O'Shannassy doing the same, in the final Arthur finished 2nd and Koby a very strong 3rd..

160cc class saw PJ Matheison put on an excellent performance taking out all heat and finals wins, new comers Dakota Luckett and Declan Robinson also sharing 2nd and 3rd placing in heats and final..

Our next meeting is round 2 at Avalon Raceway on Sunday 13th November, Racing from 10.30am..
