Avalon - april 1, 2017

​Well what do I say, another excellent turn out of cars for another close nail biting event at Avalon Raceway with also a couple of roll overs by Jacko Peachey and Rowdy Andretta which boys escaped unhurt thank god, special thanks to our medical crew who quickly checked them both and all was fine..

Very close racing by all competitors which the crowd enjoyed watching, credit given to all of our little drivers..

And thanks again to Robert & Declan Robinson for our children's area, the children all had a ball..

160's class saw very close and fast racing all afternoon by Declan, PJ and Dakota, which was the final day of the AGP for 160's, PJ took out first place, followed closely by Declan in 2nd and Dakota closely in 3rd!! Well done to you all!! Congratulations to PJ..

120's class saw extremely close and very fast racing between Koby, Arthur, Jayden, Aston, Chelsea, Blake, Rowdy and Jacko.. Koby took out his very first feature win, followed closely by Arthur in 2nd and Jayden in 3rd Congratulations to Koby..

Novice A class were too the same they had some very close and exciting racing between the likes of Hudson, Talon, Riley, Jamie, Miller, Callan, Jake, Logan, George.. Riley took out the feature with Callan in 2nd and Jamie in 3rd.. Congratulations to Riley..

Novice B class saw some excellent and fast racing too, with Lachlan, Jed, Holly, Eliza.. Holly took out the feature with a win closely followed by Leah in 2nd and Jed in 3rd..

Lachlan Dyer and Jed Moorfoot are our newest little drivers, we welcome them and there family to our club..

Thanks again to everyone that helped on race day and we look forward to seeing you all again at our next event being on Good Friday at Avalon 14th April which is extremely close to my heart "The Norm & Hazel Drew Memorial".
